A paedophile who targeted girls in the Blackwood area has been jailed for five-and-a-half years.

Jason France, 39, of no fixed address, sexually abused the girls in their homes and then used threats to stop them from telling.

France, who carried out his attacks in the 1990s, admitted eight counts of indecent assault on four girls, and has already served 15 months for two previous counts of indecent assault on two other girls.

France was sentenced by Newport Crown Court on Wednesday.

This is really shocking.I went the Y graig Junior school with Jason, I've know him for years. In recent times I heard things said about him but I was never sure weather they were true but now this confirms it. What a disgrace.
