UPDATE: Risca man charged over Oakdale road death
Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 27-year-old man found lying in the road.
Ian Hamilton, who was also known as Parker, was found dead at the side of Penmaen Road, between Oakdale and Pontllanfraith in the early hours of Sunday July 17.
Gwent Police have said a 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, both from the Risca area, have been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and are currently in custody.
Mr Hamilton, who is from Bristol, was visiting family in the area and had been to a fancy dress party earlier in the evening.
He was last seen walking from the bus station area in Blackwood.
