Young people from Caerphilly Youth Forum have been showcasing their art skills in a special project.
Funded by Caerphilly Youth Service and BAM Construction, the youngsters designed and painted large murals to be displayed on the hoardings surrounding the new hospital building site in Ystrad Fawr.
To inspire their artwork they used a poem by Michael Rosen, a former Children’s Poet Laureate, called “These are the hands”.
The designs were also used as part of a new video which will be used by the Aneurin Bevan Local Health Board to promote the new hospital.
