E-fit appeal after attempted Caerphilly burglary

Police are appealing for information after an attempted early morning burglary.

Gwent Police believe the incident happened at approximately 3.30am on Saturday February 20 at an address on the Castle View Estate, Caerphilly.

Two men broke into the property and were confronted by the two male occupiers aged 43 and 38.

A minor scuffle took place and the men made off before police arrived. The people in the house received very minor injuries in the incident and nothing was stolen.

It’s believed the men made off on foot.

The victims could only provide a description of one of the suspects.

He is described as white, very fair features with a long thin face. The male was in his early 20s, skinny in build and had a strong Cardiff accent.

If anyone has any information about the incident, or recognise the person in the e-fit, they should call Gwent Police on 101 or crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
