Caerphilly’s Labour AM Jeff Cuthbert will take part in this Sunday’s ‘Walk for Life’ event to raise cash for the Kidney Foundation Wales.
The walk will begin at 11am at Ystrad Mynach College and end at Heolddu Leisure Centre, Bargoed.
It is expected that the event will be well attended and raise a significant amount of money from donations and sponsorship.
Mr Cuthbert said: “As chair of the National Assembly for Wales’ Cross-Party Group on Healthy Living, I attach great importance to issues like this.
“The more money we can raise for the good causes promoted by groups like Kidney Foundation Wales, the better.”
