A Merthyr Tydfil man has appeared in court charged with robbery.
Police officers were called to the Coral betting shop in Hanbury Road, Bargoed, at 7.45pm on Tuesday October 12 and later arrested one man.
Anton Jones, 34, of Gernos Road, Merthyr Tydfil, appeared before Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with robbery.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Newport Crown Court on October 20.
