Caerphilly Business Forum blog: Not long left until the winners of the CBF Awards are announced

I’m now looking forward to our annual awards night having spent some time recently looking back. The reason? We’ve been considering the progress of our past winners.

They were all invited to enter a special category in this, our 10th Annual Caerphilly Business Forum Awards in association with Coleg Gwent.

The award is based on how well they’d progressed since their first moment of glory with us and those who entered obviously considered they’d done well enough to be in with a realistic chance of winning this time around too.

Some of their success stories were truly impressive – it was encouraging to see so many businesses feeling positive about themselves. They’re obviously all winners in the grand scheme of things but, of course, only one will be the winner of this special award.

You’ll have to wait until Friday November 11 to find out who that is. It all takes place at Llancaiach Fawr Manor near Nelson, starting at 7pm.

Now the hard work of our judges is over and they deserve our heart felt thanks for their time and effort. All businesses shortlisted for an award have been notified and we’ve been busy filming them in preparation for the big night.

Once again, the event is certain to be a sell-out on the night but, as there are now officially seven billion of us to cater for on this planet, we’ll do our best to accommodate a few more should anyone else wish to join our celebration (click here for our booking form).

And whatever the outcome for you, it is primarily a celebration which is why I always look forward to spending the evening in such a positive and vibrant atmosphere, enjoying the company of winners.

All that is left now is to announce who they are.
