Children have been letting their imaginations run riot at a council-run play scheme.
Giants roamed the land, Santa Claus wandered the woods and Dragons rose from the depths of Parc Penallta near Ystrad Mynach.
The strange goings on were all part of Caerphilly County Borough Council’s three day play scheme called ‘Lost’.
The play scheme, organised by the council’s Countryside Service, aimed to show the children the benefits of playing in the local countryside.
A council spokesman said: “Despite the weather the children all agreed that they had had a fantastic time, ending their summer holidays in a truly thrilling adventure.”
