A Blackwood man has been ordered to pay £335 by magistrates after he was caught with 84 tablets of Diazepam.

Jamie Turk, 31, of Tree Tops Avenue was found with the tablets in Ynysddu on January 13, 2013.

Turk admitted possession of the drug at Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday January 29.

He was fined £180 for the offence and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Turk was also fined £50 after he failed to attend a previous court hearing.
