Fast and furious family fun, the 2013 British FIM Speedway Grand Prix at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium is right up there with the biggest events on the British motorsport calendar – and we’ve got three pairs of tickets up for grabs for this year’s Speedway spectacular.

The event – which will take place on Saturday June 1 – forms part of a hugely competitive FIM Speedway Grand Prix season, with four world champions, including current title holder and 2012 British SGP winner Chris Holder, among those going full throttle in front of thousands of fans.

British supporters have a new hero to worship in the form of Tai Woffinden who makes a welcome return to the series and will also be challenging for glory in front of the patriotic fans. Tai will also be raising funds for Cancer Research UK in the run up to the British GP, by cycling 140 miles to Cardiff following his club race with Wolverhampton Wolves earlier in the week.

In an event which will be full of drama and guaranteed thrills, the riders can reach speeds of up to 70mph – competing on 500cc bikes, with no brakes and acceleration that’s faster than an F1 car.

The June 1st fun begins during the day in the Fanzone on Cardiff’s St Mary’s Street and the British FIM Speedway Grand Prix will start with pre-event entertainment in the Millennium Stadium, followed by the Grand Prix itself (5pm start) and finishing with a fantastic firework display.

We’ve teamed up with the 2013 British FIM Speedway Grand Prix organisers to give Caerphilly Observer readers the chance to enjoy this afternoon of non-stop sporting action and all you have to do to put yourself in pole position is answer this simple question:

What’s the size of the engines used by race bikes in the British FIM Speedway Grand Prix?

The deadline for entries is May 25, 2013. Terms and conditions apply.

If form does not display, please click here.

If you’re not lucky enough to win, tickets can still be purchased at www.speedwaygp.com or by calling 0844 858 8879.
