The partner of a 72-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on the Severn Bridge has said he died doing what he loved best.
Raymond Jenkins from Maesycwmmer died following the road traffic collision on the Second Severn Crossing at 5.50pm on Friday May 24.
His partner Pam Hooper, through a statement issued via Gwent Police, said: “Ray was a very loving and caring person who loved the sun, travel and his motorbikes.
“He died doing what he loved best.
“I will miss him so much.”
The crash closed the eastbound carriageway of the M4 for six hours with traffic diverted over the old Severn Bridge.
Mr Jenkins died at the scene.
Gwent Police said it wanted to thank motorists who were in the area at the time for their patience while emergency services were in attendance.
