A gang of three robbers have admitted robbing the Nationwide Building Society in Caerphilly.
Patrick Smeda, Anthony Crooks and Carlos Corlett pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob the Cardiff Road branch which netted them £80,000.
The building society was robbed at 5.20am on September 18 last year when two security guards were threatened outside the branch.
The three also admitted two separate counts of conspiring to steal luxury cars, including a Mercedes Kompressor, a Ssangyong and a Ford S Max.
Smeda, 26, Corlett, 30, both originally from Liverpool, and Crooks, 24, from Albion Close, Newport, also owned up to their parts in other raids across South Wales.
The trio are to be sentenced at a later date.
