Victoria Banks and Stephen Probert are both wanted for failing to appear in court

Gwent Police is appealing for information to find a man and a woman from Blackwood who both failed to attend court hearings.

Court warrants have been issued for the arrest of Stephen James Probert, 37, and 28-year-old Victoria Emily Banks.

Stephen Probert failed to appear at Newport Crown Court in November 2012 after being charged with child abduction and fraud offences.

Victoria Banks failed to appear at Newport Crown Court in October 2013 after being charged with Burglary. She also failed to appear at Brecon Magistrates’ Court in May 2013 after being charged with possession of a class B drug.

Both are originally from the Blackwood area and its believed they are together and could be anywhere in the UK.

Officers have undertaken numerous enquiries to locate Probert and Banks.

If anyone sees them or knows of their whereabouts, they are advised not to approach them but to contact Gwent Police immediately on 101 and quote log number 487 23/10/13.

Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
