Firefighters tackled a blaze in Blackwood after an arson attack on a house in The Rise, Fairview.
Crews from Cefn Fforest extinguished the small fire in the living room of the house shortly after 8.45pm on March 20.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was started deliberately in the empty terraced house.
Police attended the scene to secure the property.
