The Sborissimo choir will travel hundreds of miles from the Czech Republic town of Pisek to celebrate the town’s twinning with Caerphilly.

The visit is a celebration of 20th anniversary of the twinning, which has seen hundreds of exchanges between the towns in that time.

The visitors will stay with host families from the Caerphilly Community Chorus during their four-day stay, performing in the band stand of Castle Court Shopping Centre, Caerphilly, on Saturday May 17 at 11am .

The choir’s visit will culminate in a special birthday concert in Bedwas Workman’s Hall on Saturday May 17. Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets cost just £5.
