An 11 year-old-boy has been knocked over by a vehicle on Cardiff Road in Caerphilly Town Centre.

The boy was hit at around 3.30pm this afternoon, October 22, and a Gwent Police spokeswoman said he was taken to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff. It is not thought his injuries are serious.

Cardiff Road was partly closed in the town centre, with police officers diverting traffic along different routes, but has since reopened.

Someone said the young fella was pushed? If that’s true, are the police doing anything about punishing the culprits? The youths are running wild in this town at the moment. It breaks my heart to see it
