A bogus caller pretending to be a cleaner managed to con her way into a property in Llanbradach.
Gwent Police are appealing for information after the woman gained access to a property on Glyn Eiddew.
The woman called at the property at around 10am this morning, Monday January 5. She was allowed into the property, but then left when further questioned by the occupant.
The woman was described as being white, in her 20s, with dark brown hair. She was wearing a red tabard and carrying a blue handbag. She may have been travelling in a small, light coloured vehicle.
Police said nothing appeared to have been stolen during the incident.
