A 37-year-old man has been arrested after a knifepoint robbery in Hengoed.
The robbery took place at Graig Stores, in Hengoed Road at around 1pm on Sunday January 11 when a man entered the shop and threatened a shop assistant with a knife before stealing cash from the till.
He is described as being white, between 20 and 25-years-old and approximately 5ft 4in tall of medium build. He was wearing a scarf and spoke with a local accent.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Gwent Police said they have arrested a 37-year-old local man on suspicion of robbery.
