A Caerphilly business owner has appeared in court charged with the attempted abduction of a 14-year-old girl.
Ahmed Ali, 28, from Newport, was denied bail after allegedly trying to snatch the girl from Morrisons car park in Caerphilly town on January 8.
Newport Crown Court was told today, January 29, that Ali, who is married, runs a business on Nantgarw Road.
He was remanded in custody and will appear for a plea hearing on April 10. His trial date is set for June 29.
