Police have issued an appeal for information after an assault in Caerphilly Town Centre on November 13, 2014.

Two men, aged 20, and a woman, aged 22, were assaulted and verbally abused by a gang of youngsters.

The trio had walked from Subway on Cardiff Road, Caerphilly, towards the castle. The abuse and assault happened when they were opposite Tesco at around 8.15pm. The three were left uninjured.

Police believe there were a large number of people in the area at the time, specifically those captured on CCTV, and would like to speak to anyone who could provide information to contact them.

If anyone with information can contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 457 13/11/14.
