Six arrests after Gwent Police drug raids across Caerphilly County Borough

Six people have been arrested for drug offences after Gwent Police launched Operation Resolute across Caerphilly Caerphilly County Borough.

The operation saw drug warrants executed throughout January with six arrests in Caerphilly county and one in Torfaen.

A 63-year-old man from Trethomas was cautioned for producing cannabis, following a raid on Brynfedw in Bargoed on january 14.

On 16th January, police found cannabis plants when they  executed a drug warrant on Heol Aneurin in Penyrheol.

A 53-year-old local woman was arrested and cautioned for production of cannabis.

Quantities of class B and class C drugs were seized from a property on Bryhyfryd, Pontlottyn on January 18.

A 36-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

On January 21 a 36-year-old man was arrested and cautioned for cannabis cultivation after a raid  on Herrick Place, Graig-y-Rhacca.

A quantity of class B drugs were recovered and a 48-year-old man was arrested when police executed a warrant on First Avenue in Trecenydd on January 28.

He has since been charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs and will appear at Caerphilly Magistrates Court next week.

On January 29 cannabis plants were seized from an address on Llwyd Y Berth in Caerphilly.

A 46-year-old local man was arrested and cautioned for production of cannabis.
