Foundation degree students from Coleg Gwent’s Crosskeys Campus studying Creative Arts recently took their classroom to the streets of the Big Apple for an inspirational tour of a lifetime.

The students visited New York as part of a course project taking in iconic landmarks such as the Rockefeller Centre, the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty.

Photography students captured the most photographed city in the world and fashion students headed to the home of New York fashion on 5th Avenue whilst music and drama students took in the dazzling lights of Broadway Theatre.

Student Robin Biggs said: “We had an amazing time. It was great to be able to complete coursework abroad and to be able to photograph such an amazing place. From the Statue of Liberty, to the heights of the Empire State Building, it was a picture perfect trip and a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
