The third phase of a project to regenerate Bargoed has been shortlisted for a prestigious engineering award.
The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Wales Cymru has announced the finalists for its Project Awards 2015.
The annual awards celebrate the contribution of civil engineering to Wales by recognising schemes for their excellence in concept, planning and design, contract management and construction.
According to ICE, the Caerphilly Council-backed project celebrates Bargoed’s cultural heritage, has raised the profile of the area and contributes towards its revitalisation as a modern and sustainable town.
