Newbridge School pupils have taken part in the Big Spring Clean 2015
Newbridge School pupils have taken part in the Big Spring Clean 2015.
Pupils teamed up with Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Tidy Towns Team to set to work on improving the town’s park and ride facility.
The environmental enthusiasts planted native flowers and plants to brighten up the railway station and help make the entrance more attractive.
They also gave the area a general spring clean to make the town more pleasant for residents and visitors.
Cllr David Poole said: “It’s great to see pupils from Newbridge School getting involved in the Big Spring Clean and I would like to thank them for doing their bit to help make their local environment greener and cleaner.”
