Three schools in Caerphilly County Borough have received awards for raising health awareness.
St Gwladys Bargoed Primary School, Hendredenny Park Primary and Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Caerffili have been members of the Caerphilly Healthy Schools Scheme for over nine years.
They were awarded the National Quality Mark for encouraging school communities to improve health and wellbeing.
Caerphilly Council Cabinet Member for Community and Leisure Services, Cllr David Poole, said: “Our schools are truly going the extra mile to create healthier communities and encourage pupils to share knowledge with their families and peers.”
