Twenty-two-year-old sign language student, Jade Cherrington from Risca, has been crowned Miss Caerphilly 2015.
The title was awarded at the grand final of Miss Wales 2015, which took place at the Princess Royal Theatre in Port Talbot last month.
The event raised in the region of £12,000 for the Miss World charity Beauty With A Purpose.
Paula Abbandonato, who organises the Miss Wales event, said: “The whole weekend was an incredible experience and a real celebration of the achievements of all the finalists who have worked so hard in the run-up to the big night. I want to thank and congratulate them all.”
The overall title of Miss Wales 2015 went to 22-year-old Emma Jenkins from Llanelli.
