Hengoed drug raid results in three arrests

Ystrad Mynach officers arrested three people and seized drugs during a raid in the Hengoed area on Wednesday April 29.

They seized a number of drugs from the property on Oxwich Close, believed to be cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis.

A 23-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances. They have been bailed whilst officers carry out further inquiries.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “If you have any information about the use or supply of drugs in your neighbourhood, please contact us on 101. You can also phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

    Did you know the roofs of terrace houses in the valleys are coated with a non stick solution. Most evident in the winter season.
