Pupils from Lewis Girls Comprehensive School have been named ‘best company’ as part of the local Young Enterprise Awards.
Their team ‘Liberty’ will now go to on the Welsh finals on Monday June 15 at the Sherman Theatre, Cardiff.
They came out on top during the competition due to the commitment and team work from: Poppy Miller (Managing Director); Alice Donegani (Finance Director); Hannah Santos (Operations Director); Bethan Jones (Human Resources and Marketing Director); Sophie Bolter (Sales Director); Sophie Gwylim (Information Technology Director) and Jenna Tyler (Administrator).
The Young Enterprise competition involves a number of teams from different schools who must create a company from scratch, along with a product to sell.
Liberty designed, created and sold wall-hangings in a range of different themes and styles.
