Pupils and staff at Glyn Gaer Primary School in Gelligaer have hosted their first Intergenerational Club.
The club, which runs one afternoon a month between 2pm and 3pm during school term times, aims to encourage people of all ages to communicate during the sessions and break down barriers between generations.
The first session started with a game of Scrabble run by volunteers from a local Scrabble club.
The next Intergenerational Club at Glyn Gaer Primary School will take place on Thursday June 11.
