A builders’ merchant in Tir-y-Berth raised almost £1,100 for Macmillan by holding a fun day on September 25.
Staff at Denman and Sons dressed up, donated and helped out, with Woody from Toy Story entertaining the kids.
There was a visit from Lightning McQueen as well as truck-pulling and a bouncy castle.
Manager Tina Hinder said: “We had an excellent day on Friday, with all the staff donating and helping and really getting into the spirit of it.
“The generosity of the public was outstanding, especially all of the people in their cars who stopped at the side of the road to donate.”
