A Hengoed man jailed for actual bodily harm has been recalled to prison for a breach of his release licence.
David Smithson, 43, from the Hengoed area, was released from his 12-month sentence on March 7, 2013.
Gwent Police said Smithson has breached his licence and is being recalled to prison. He was links in the Pontypridd and Nantgarw areas.
