A third man has died after a car crash that killed two best friends from Bargoed.
The 18-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, had been in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff since the crash in Georgetown, Merthyr Tydfil, on October 11.
Rhys Jones, 18, and Ryan Gibbons, 20, died when a car they were travelling in crashed into a telegraph pole.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on police bail.
