Staff at Caerphilly-based housing association United Welsh brightened the festive season for children living in local refuges by donating dozens of Christmas presents.

United Welsh staff, along with colleagues at subsidiary company Celtic Horizons donated more than 150 gifts for children being supported by Llamau Women’s Services in Caerphilly.

Robert Price Builders Merchants and the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences at Cardiff University also donated food and gifts to the United Welsh collection.

The presents were delivered on Monday December 21 and were bought for boys and girls of all ages, from a three-month-old baby through to teenagers.

Gifts were also donated to families living at United Welsh’s homeless accommodation Adams Court in Cardiff, and charitable housing association Hafan Cymru.
