Van and car deliberately set on fire in Ystrad Mynach and Gelligaer

South Wales Fire and Rescue crews from Caerphilly and Aberbargoed were called out to two separate vehicle fires last night, Thursday, March 10.

Firefighters from Caerphilly were called to Twyn Road in Ystrad Mynach at 7.48pm after a van was set alight, while an Aberbargoed crew were sent to a report of a car alight on Gelligaer Common Road at 10.04pm.

Both fires were said to be deliberate.
