Blood donation diary dates for Bargoed, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Rhymney and Risca

The Welsh Blood Service will be at the following places over the next fortnight for people to make blood donations.

• Bargoed: Tuesday, June 28, 1.30pm to 6pm, at St Gwladys’ Church Hall, Church Place.

• Blackwood: Thursday, July 7, 11.15 to 1.45pm and 3.15pm to 7pm, at Asda, High Street.

• Caerphilly: Friday, July 15, 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.20pm, at Wesley Methodist Church Hall, Crescent Road.

• Rhymney: Friday, June 24, 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4.20pm,at Rhymney Rugby Football Club, War Memorial Park.

• Risca: Monday, July 4, 10am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 6pm at Tesco, Pontymister Industrial Estate, Newport Road.

    Very valuable life saving service and the people of the valleys will be as generous as ever, as it should be;

    On a lighter note, there is plenty of blood wasted on the walls and floor of Labour Committee rooms in the House of Commons today.
