A group of students from Coleg Gwent’s Crosskeys campus have embarked on community improvement work as part of their studies.
Learners recently worked with Caerphilly County Borough Council to undertake a variety of environmental work in Waunfawr Park including tidying up the area and planting spring flowers.
Coleg Gwent lecturer, Wilma Gaywood said: “Our students are required to undertake work on improving the local community and environmental activities such as this are providing a valuable experience in their development.”
