Clinical waste from a care home has been found dumped on a mountainside in Pontlottyn.

Police attended the scene of fly tipping just off Hill Road on the afternoon of Sunday, May 3, where they found several items including personal protective equipment.

A post by Gwent Police on Twitter shows waste including surgical gloves and aprons.

Gwent Police confirmed that the care home in question was immediately informed and the case was handed over to Caerphilly County Borough Council to clear the waste.
