A mobile coronavirus testing unit is set to open in Bargoed on Wednesday (October 28).

The unit will be in the car park of Bargoed Library and will only be available for Caerphilly County Borough residents.

It will be open from 2pm to 4.30pm each day until Monday, November 2.

Residents will need to book in advance to get tested and will need to bring proof of address with them.

Symptoms of coronavirus include a new continuous cough, high temperature and a loss of taste or smell.

To book a test, call 03003 031222 between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, or between 8am and 6pm on a Saturday.
