Body found near Llanbradach

A man’s body has been found in marshland just off Coed y Brain Road, Llanbradach.

The body was found on Friday morning (February 26).

In a statement, Gwent Police confirmed the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and said: “Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.54am this morning, Friday 26 February, by our police colleagues to an incident off Coed y Brain Road in Llanbradach.

“We sent one emergency ambulance and a paramedic in a rapid response car to the scene, where crews were supported by a duty operations manager.”

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also at the scene on Friday morning.
