Bedwas into WRU Challenge Cup semi-finals after beating Brecon

Bedwas have stormed into the WRU Challenge Cup semi-finals after seeing off Brecon at the Bridgefield.

Both Bedwas and Bargoed will be in action on Saturday January 20 when they play respective quarter finals against Brecon and Llangennech.

Bedwas overcame Caerphilly County Borough rivals Penallta by a solitary point when the sides met in Ystrad Mynach on Saturday January 13.

Bargoed’s WRU National Championship East title hopes were handed a boost after a 31-24 victory at home to Glamorgan Wanderers.
