A programme of activities including swimming, sports camps and outdoor adventures will take place across the county borough during the school Easter holidays.
Organised by Caerphilly County Borough Council, events will run from March 30 to April 10.
A girls’ football camp for children aged seven to 12 will be held at Ystrad Mynach’s Centre for Sporting Excellence on Tuesday March 31 and Thursday April 9.
Mixed football camps at the same venue will run from 9am to 3pm on April 1, 2, 7 and 8, costing £13.90 per day.
An Easter sports scheme will also be available at Caerphilly, Heolddu, Newbridge and Risca leisure centres throughout the holidays.
At Pontllanfraith’s new Centre for Skills and Learning, disability play sessions for children aged four to 17 will take place between 10am and 12pm on Thursday April 2. A pop-up play session will follow at the same venue from 1pm to 2.30pm.
Three additional play sessions will be held in parks across the borough from 11am to 2pm: Bargoed Park on Monday March 30, Senghenydd Park on Tuesday March 31, and Waunfawr Park in Crosskeys on Wednesday April 1.
Climbing wall sessions for children aged seven and over will be held at the Centre for Skills and Learning on Tuesday March 31, Tuesday April 7 and Friday April 10, priced at £8.25 per person.
Other activities include bushcraft, adventure walks, canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding for children aged seven to 12 at Cwmcarn Forest between Tuesday April 7 and Friday April 10.
Activities can be booked via the council’s Leisure Lifestyle app.
