Local author and serving police officer Mike Thomas will be launching his satirical novel ‘Pocket Notebook’ at Bedwas Community Education Centre on Monday March 1 at 10am.

Mike will read extracts from his book and talk about the journey he has taken, from writer’s dream to the reality of being published by one of the UK’s major publishers, Heinemann.

‘Pocket Notebook’ follows the life of the main character Jacob Smith, a good-old British policeman.
