No Mercy Wrestling is returning to Caerphilly after successfully raising £700 for cancer charities last October.
The Caerphilly-based wrestling group, which trains at their dojo on Western Industrial Estate, is going to be back at Caerphilly Leisure Centre for an afternoon of wrestling on March 19.
At the last show, Clotheslining Cancer, the group performed to a packed-out crowd to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Latch, a children’s cancer charity in Wales.
Managing director Chris Bevan spoke about this year’s event, ‘Sweep The Leg’: “Last time went really well and we’re hoping for it to be bigger and better this time around.
“We have former WWE stars such as Wild Boar and Joseph Connors as well as a few local boys so it should be a fun afternoon.
“Most importantly though we have our title-deciding match which doesn’t happen too often.”
Doors open at 2:30pm on Sunday March 19 with the first fight beginning at 3pm.
Tickets can be bought from the No Mercy Wrestling website with a portion of merchandise and raffle ticket money going to a local charity , which will be drawn from a hat.
