Gerwyn Price has now officially secured his spot in the Premier League darts play-offs.
Price, from Markham, currently sits top of the table, with just two nights left before the competition moves into its next phase.
Price secured qualification despite being beaten by Michael van Gerwen in the Night 14 quarter-finals in Manchester on Thursday, May 4.
The defeat ended Price’s run of five consecutive wins over the Dutchman.
So far this year, Price has reached seven Premier League finals, registering wins in in Cardiff, Nottingham, Newcastle and Brighton.
Premier League Darts returns on May 11 in Sheffield, where Price will come up against Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-finals.
From there, the roadshow heads to Aberdeen on May 18, before the play-offs at London’s O2 Arena on May 25 – where Price will be joined by the already-qualified Van Gerwen and Michael Smith, as well as one other who has yet to qualify.
