A man was taken to hospital with several broken bones after being attacked in Caerphilly.
The man, in his 40s, also had his phone stolen in the attack, which happened in the underpass connecting the Lansbury Park and Porset Park estates.
The incident happened at around 7pm on Wednesday May 20.
Gwent Police has launched an appeal, and has urged witnesses to come forward.
In a statement, Gwent Police said: “If you have any CCTV footage in that area, between the hours of 6pm and 7pm, or if you witnessed the assault or have any information that could help, please call us on 101, quoting 2600157508, or DM us.”
