Pontllanfraith school lead thief on the run after breaching licence conditions

Shaun Davies of Pontllanfraith is wanted by police

A man from Pontllanfraith is wanted by police after he breached his licence conditions.

Shaun Davies, 24, of Newbridge Road, Pontllanfraith, was sentenced to 14 months at Newport Crown Court in June last year after he admitted stealing a lead from a school roof.

Gwent Police is appealing for information to find Davies who breached his licence conditions after being released from prison on February 4 2013.

Davies is described as white, about 5ft 6in tall, of a medium build, with short brown hair.

People with information should contact Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Update: Police reported on April 30, 2013, that Davies had been arrested.
