Ystrad Mynach man named as victim of A469 Llanbradach crash

A cyclist killed in a road traffic collision in Llanbradach has been named as 21-year-old Dan Heyes.

Mr Heyes, from Ystrad Mynach, was cycling along the A469 Llanbradach bypass when he was in a collision with a white Volkswagen panel van.

The crash happened at around 2am on Wednesday, June 8. Mr Heyes was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gwent Police is appealing for anyone with information about the crash to call 101 quoting log 30 08/06/16.

No arrests have been made.

Please had initially reported, incorrectly, that Mr Hayes was 22-years-old.
