Jason Soal, or Jay Soal, has been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions

A convicted murderer is wanted by police after he was recalled to prison for breaching the terms of his releas licence.

Jason Soal, also known as ‘Jay Soal’ and ‘Jason Brindley Davies’, was convicted at Cardiff Crown Court on September 11, 1992 and sentenced to life. He was released in 2004 on a life licence.

Police said Soal, who has connections in Risca and the Rhymney Valley area, breached his licence conditions and has been recalled to prison.

Soal is 37 years old and is described as 5ft 10ins, of medium build, with brown eyes and short dark hair. He has scars to the right side of his neck and on his right hand.

He has a tattoo on his left arm of a dragon in black ink. On his left arm he has a tattoo of a dragon and feathers in black ink.

Officers would advise anyone who sees Soal not to approach him, but to contact police immediately.

People with information on the whereabouts of Jason Soal should call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
