Police have appealed after a 16-year-old girl was attacked at a bus stop in Newbridge.
The girl was taken to hospital as a precaution after injuring her face in the attack. It happened opposite Newbridge Comprehensive School at around 10.30am on Friday, June 10.
The girl is said to have been attacked by a woman, who police believe to be in her late teens.
The suspect is described as white with dark hair worn in a bun. She was said to be wearing a pink jacket, black and white trousers, bright pink shoes and had a backpack.
Gwent Police has urged anyone who was on Bridge Street between 10.15am and 10.45am on June 10, or anyone with any information or dashcam footage, to get in touch.
