Castle View Post Office to close for refurbishment

News | | Published: 17:00, Wednesday October 1st, 2014.

The Post Office has said work to modernise its branch on the Castle View housing estate, in Caerphilly town, will take place this month.

The branch, located within the Tesco Express store, will have a refit and will open for longer. The new opening hours will be 6am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Post Office Regional Network Manager for Wales, Sue Whittall, said: “We know how important the Post Office service is to the community and we feel sure that our customers old and new will welcome the new modern open plan format and longer opening hours.”

The branch will close for refurbishment on Saturday October 4 before reopening on October 9. The work was originally scheduled for September.
